At Streethouse Primary we expect and encourage our children to read at home daily. All children in lower school have a tailored Read Write Inc book that is pitched at the appropriate level for every child. In addition, all children have access to our whole school library where Reading for Pleasure is our focus - children may take any book they like to share with family members, as many times as they like!

In addition to reading teachers set homework tasks linked to maths, spelling, and key learning to consolidate prior learning or learn new spelling words or research new vocabulary for example.

Each class, each half term has a Topic-based Homework Grid that gives all children a chance to complete tasks that are differentiated and within a child's interest or opportunity. Please see below and on each class page for copies of these documents.
